Recover, mosey to the grassy hill to the right and behind the community center.

Facing the bottom: 5 merkins, then 2 steps forward and repeat all the way down the hill (approximately 5-7 sets).

Two captains were selected based on demonstrated skill and leadership on the field: Dogpound (who is always hustling) and Hokey Pokey (who is a defensive monster)
Teams selected schoolyard style.
Dogpound’s team was assigned blue; Hokey’s team was assigned red.
After some tentative play and awesome defense, the scoring started. Really close/competitive play all the way through. The score does not adequately show how competitive the game was:

The tournament will take a week break for this week’s convergence at Depot and resume on the 13th for week 2 of the best of 7 series. Players who did not come for the first week will be selected via picking with Hokey’s Reds having the first pick.
