5 pax hit the Roost on this warm humid morning. The pre-workout mumble chatter consisted of complaining of soreness, tiredness, and post vacation hangovers…you know general old man speak. To brighten the spirit of everyone, YHC decided to take the pax on a little field trip to the zoo. Here’s how it went down:

Half lap jog to stadium gate and head down to grass.
SSH (IC) x 15
Windmill (IC) x 15
TTT (IC) x 15
IW (IC) x 15
Line up in indian run formation. Instead of running pax perform 1st animal themed exercise. Last man in line performs reps of second called exercise. Once complete run to front of line and new last man performs exercise. All while remaining pax continue animal themed exercise. Each round will last approx 5 mins.
Bear crawl – 5 Burpees
Bunny hop – 10 Merkins
Crab walk – 10 LBCs
Duck walk – 10 Squats
Inch worm- 10 Freddie mercuries
Gorilla walk – 10 monkey humpers #crowdpleaser
Leap frog
Centipede push ups – 10 rounds w/ 5 sec hold at top
Head up to track and jog back to virtual shovel flag. 1 min plank sequence
Solid work by all this morning. Sweaty legs rubbing against the side of my face was not the way I like to start every morning, but hey whatever it takes to get better right?
