Weather – humid, but not a crazy humid 73
The Clash PAX descended back to the fields at Riverland Hills for some ultimate this morning. Special thanks to JDee for coming hot to keep teams even. Of course this was after putting Booster and Rebar on the same time for the 3rd time in history.
The highlights!!!
- With the chance of rain and the humidity, the disc was a little extra slippery. There were a lot of overthrows….but it made for some outstanding catches. Booster, Rebar, Steel Toe and FN3 (welcome) all showed some skills with some great catches. Of course there were more overthrows than actual scores.
- I am pretty sure we had a record today too. The longest before the first score. Most were pretty much out of breath as there was a lot of offense from one team and a little bit of defense for the other…..but just enough to set the record.
- We tried to run without the pennies, but with an errant throw or two that went to the other team lead for YHC to bite the bullet and grab them. Honestly enough, it felt like two scores from the other team happened in the short time of be getting them….
- While it was close the entire time, the speed of Pinot and Watergate being on the same team with Rebar and Booster really just paid off in the end. Add in JDee with No. 2 to that team and it is near unstoppable. But the team of FN3, Bonzi, Steel Toe, Puppy Love, Satchmo and YHC kept is pretty close the entire game until the end.
COT – Prayer request: Booster – friend with health issues, Satchmo – college kids back in town and church buildings not open, no opportunity to get plugged in.
FNG’s -Both EH’ed by McChicken…..who fart sacked…..(actually blamed it on the 2.0’s)
