An extraordinary travel schedule has forced YHC to miss all but one bootcamp in the past 3 weeks. Happy to be back. Didn’t see any FNGs, so disclaimer was implied and off we went.
1 lap mosey around track
Grab blocks and head over to the track. Waiting was the white board with three rounds clearly detailed. (Yes, the Q was prepared.) Each round was divided by a run loop of increasing length. YHC pointed out that those with an aversion to running could modify the longer loops as needed. Here is what was prescribed:
ROUND 1: (Run around track)
20 WIDE ARM MERKIN
30 IRON CROSS
40 OVERHEAD PRESS
ROUND 2: (Run around ball fields and tennis courts)
10 CAROLINA DRY DOCK
30 FLUTTER KICK
40 CHEST PRESS
ROUND 3: (Run around school. Moneypenny missed the turn and took us around the entire campus.)
10 MAN-MAKER BURPIE
30 BIG BOY SIT UP
(Total run = 2.5 miles)
Return blocks. Enough time for 6 minutes of Mary…
20 IRON CROSS
20 FREDDIE MERCURY
20 AMERICAN HAMMER
Game over. Time’s up. Dripping with sweat and gassed. Quick COT and PRAYER.
Convergence tomorrow with SpeedTrap at Roost. 0515 be there on time for Firedaddy has the Q.
What is this promise you ask? While YHC has not been afraid to Q plenty of workouts at Roost or Havoc, I’ve been guilty of not putting up backblasts since F3 de-centralized the website. A recent twitter comment by Cesspool at F3 Columbia has put me back on the path for getting this done. “BB’s are not for you or about you. They are to show respect for the other PAX that post and do what you as the Q ask them to do.” And I do very much respect these men I post with. I will do better in the future.
