4 faithful PAX joined YHC for another fun filled morning of the Devil’s Mile…version 2.0 style. 2 PAX showed up with GRT regulation weight.
Conditions: 39 degrees and clear
The Thang:
Starting from one corner of the 1/4 mile track, perform the following:
Bear Crawl to corner #2
10 Merkins
Sumo Walk to Corner #3
10 Squats
Lunge Walk to corner #4
Overhead Squat Presses with ruck – or overhead squat claps if no ruck
Sumo Walk to Corner #1
10 Turkish Getups (5 per arm)
1 lap with ruck raised – or with plank arms straight out by your side if no ruck
Rinse and Repeat
Moleskin:
– The rules were that you were no allowed forward progress unless you were performing the exercise. If you needed to rest your arms – stop – rest – then continue.
– With or without a ruck, this still sucks.
– Breaking up the 1/4 mile and performing incremental exercises that will one day lead up to 1/4 mile of each exercise was a #crowdpleaser.
– Although we performed the 1 mile in approximately 32 minutes (much quicker than last weeks 59 minutes), we will still keep The Devils Mile at 0500.
– More tweaks are coming until we have this perfect. But don’t get too comfy…
– The use of coupons are a future implement…guaranteed.
