2nd Running of Suicide Half Pipe

A star studded cast of 20 pax converged at The Roost this crisp morning for the 2nd running of the suicide half pipe.  Several pax had suffered through this before and others wanted to see what the fuss was about.  Here’s how it went down:

From lower lot head up to top of suicide hill for warm up:

SSH x 15

Explanation of Suicide Hill Half pipe:

Start at the top of Suicide Hill closest to the softball field with 20 reps of OH block press…run to bottom of hill for 20 squats…run to opposite top for 20 merkins…return to middle for 20 LBC’s then back to top nearest softball field. Add 1 rep/exercise each lap…second lap would be 21 of each and so on…rinse & repeat until time is called.

This workout is all about “you vs you.” Push yourself by recording your “score” each month while pushing others to get better at the same time.  Some of the lead pax came close to covering 4 miles.

Thanks to the pax from Speed Trap and Twilight for joining us today.  We welcome anyone to join on the last Tuesday of each month (next one being January 30) with one minor change going forward.  Warm up/stretching will be on your own as we will start “promptly” at 5:15.  Also the exercises may be switched up each month (overheard someone wanting thursters and burpees at the tops).
