Warmth before the storm

9 pax gathered at Hammer for a relatively warm morning.  However, for YHC, it was frigid.

30 baby arm circles forward

30 baby arm circles backward

Run to The Other Store

10 slow count merkins

20 LBC- all ab workouts using 4 count cadence

20 right side crunch (right elbow to left knee)

20 left side crunch (left elbow to right knee)

20 “sole touch” crunches (legs in the air, crunch to touch your shoes)

Run to the corner of Atascadero and Monterey Place

10 slow count merkins

20 Big boy sit us, in cadence (2 sit ups per 4 count cadence)

20 reverse crunches/reverse monkey humpers (legs in the air, lunging them up- 4 count cadence)

Run to the bottom of Cherry Laurel Dr.

Partner up- one partner remains at the bottom and planks while the other runs to the top of the hill and does 10 burpees.  Switch partners- partner 2 does 9 burpees, then partner 1 does 8 burpees, etc.  Yes, this results in one partner doing more than the other.  YHC was never a math wiz.  Boo Boo wasn’t thrilled, but he’s a Clemson Tiger and so it was a piece of cake.

20 bicycle crunches, switching right arm to left knee then left arm to right knee

Run back to parking lot.
