12 PAX won the first battle of the day, entered the Gloom, and got it done this morning. Here are the details…
Conditions: 42 degrees and clear, however the PAX warmed up quickly.
The Thang:
Mosey to IIla. Run the length of IIla towards Satchelford Rd. stopping at every driveway to do 4 merkins – 36 total.
Mosey to Cedar Springs stopping at the bottom of Cedar Springs hill for 5 burpees OYO.
Mosey up Cedar Springs to stop sign. Circle up for Carolina Drydocks x 10 IC, flutter kicks x 20 IC and 10 jump squats OYO.
Turn onto Briarwood and mosey to Briarfield stopping at the bottom of Briarfield Hill.
Time for the hills to come alive…
YHC gave instructions to do 20 squats OYO, run to top of Briarfield Hill for 20 squats OYO, run to bottom of Cedar Springs Hill for 20 squats OYO, run back up CSH back to the top of Briarfield Hill for 20 squats OYO, run to bottom of Briarfield Hill for 20 squats OYO then do flutters while waiting on 6. Rinse and Repeat substituting squats with 20 total lunges (#crowdpleaser). PAX did big boy situps while waiting on 6.
Mosey back up Briarfield to Briarwood. Circle up for Carolina Drydocks x 10 IC, flutter kicks x 20 IC and 10 jump squats OYO.
Mosey to Cedar Springs and stop at bottom of CSH for 5 Burpees OYO.
Mosey back to IIa. Slumdogs (calf-raises) waiting on 6.
Run the length of IIla towards Briarfield stopping at every driveway to do 4 merkins.
Circle up for 20 jump squats IC, then high plank on knuckles for various plank exercises.
Return to Flag and finish up with max merkins for 1.5 minutes.

On a personal note, YHC would like to thank the PAX of F3Columbia and F3Nation for the TAP over the past month. My M’s brother, James Vincent aka Watermelon, passed away last week after an extended stay in the ICU. McNugget attended the funeral which meant more to YHC than he knows. Thank you.
