20 Men braved the freezing temperature to post for the 4th running of the Woodshed’s monthly fitness test, #TheAxe. T-Claps to SilverBullet and Improv for helping set up the tires the night before. We had the pleasure of hosting our #Legion brothers. They raised the level of competition and made us better. Iron Sharpens Iron.
Conditions: Freezing. Maybe colder. Clear and very dark.
The Thang: Brief Warm up of SSH x 15, squats x 20, Merkins x 10 all IC as Legion pax arrived on foot from their AO approximately 1.5 miles away. Gave explanation of course to pax and got after it.
#TheAxe is a 6 station circuit spread out in the shape of, well, an axe. Station 1: squats x 20. Station 2: pull ups x 7. Station 3: BB Situps x 20. Station 4: run one lap around the circus maximus. Station 5: sledgehammer blows on tires x 10 (left handed and right handed). Station 6: merkins x 20. R&R as hard as you can for 30 minutes.
