9 Pax posted at Swagger for our second occurence of speed work. Thanks to Alter Boy and Dufresne for assisting with some deep stretching techniques prior to pushing our legs on the track.
Conditions: 54 and 93% humidity
The Thang:
- One mile run to Crossroads track (decreasing time each journey we make)
- Deep stretching prior to run
- 100 meter spring followed by 100 meter jog – recover
- Repeat for 12 meters
- Line up in single file line
- Indian run for 800 meters (feel the pain when your name is called)
- Return to Blockbuster with emphasis on pushing the last 100 yards
Moleskin:
Great run by everyone out at the workout. The stretching realy helped with only one minor torgue of a hamy. Everyone seemed to appreciate the speed work to decrease times on other runs. These willl continue with longers sprint distances starting soon
