9 Pax showed up, showed out, and got better.
The Thang: McNugget and Splinter’s turn at Battle on 1/20. McNugget had been a no show for quite some time, so he was pleasantly surprised when the Pax welcomed him back with open arms. This was a fun workout with an emphasis on burpees, BLIMPS, perfect slow reps, and Triangles.
McNugget:
Grab paves and head to football field
50 Burpees OYO (no pavers)
BLIMPS with pavers-
B-5 Burpees
L-10 Lunges (each Leg)
I- 15 Imperial Walkers (each leg)
M- 20 Merkins
P- 25 Plank jacks
S- 30 Squats
The Pax executed about 3 different sets of BLIMPS which covered about 150 yards when moving on lunges and Imperial Walkers.
Bear Crawl Ring of Fire –
One pax bear crawl around the ring while the other 8 pax complete the called exercise. Each pax had a turn. Exercises included merkins, squats, planks, curl press, etc.
50 yard Bear Crawl to Goal Line (with pavers)
Finish with Tunnel of Love
Splinter’s Turn:
Grab pavers and head back to grass lot by COT
circle up for the following:
10 slow squats IC
10 slow merkins IC
10 slow sky ups IC
Double Paver Curl/Press X 10
Rinse and repeat for a total of 4 sets
Next up, TRIANGLE:
10 max effort broad jumps along base of triangle followed by four burpees
DB backpedal to top of triangle followed by four burpees
lunge walk back to start followed by four burpees
Rinse and repeat for a total of 4 sets
