2nd F - Fellowship

Serena Q @F3TheMission 2/10/2018

It was a wet, nasty overcast day. Temp about 54. Perfect weather for a Saturday morning boot camp. Heist and Serena put in some miles before and after the boot camp. Tclaps to them. And good showing of OGM Alumni again. Shows that OGM and F3 together can impact the lives of these men.

We circled up.

COP:

SSH×20 IC

Imperial walkers×20 IC

Squats×20 IC

Merkins×10 IC

The Thang:

We meet Dora. Partner up.

One partner runs around the Mr. Finley statue and group of trees while other partner does the exercises. Collectively in your 2 man team:

100 merkins

200 squats

300 Imperial walkers.

Here is where I say 2 count imperial walkers 300 times can be tough. A lot of mumblechatter to keep each other going.

I also would like to point out Zuckerberg( my battle buddy) stuck with Bookworm every time they ran around the “Finley loop”. Very encouraged to see that.

Now we fast mosey over to the first bridge on the new bike trail. We held plank while Serena talks about the accountability of being in these circles. Then we partnered with our battle buddies again for Iron crosses×25 OYO and declined merkins×25 OYO off your partners backs.

Then, we ran down the trail to almost the second bridge for 10 merkins. Then run back to the six. 10 more merkins where we meet the six. Run back to starting point for 10 more merkins until we finish together.

After that, a bear crawl Indian run, on asphalt I might add, and most of us had no gloves. Up until each person finds point one time.

From there, we Frankenstein walk all the way to the running path around the pond. Spokes was not feeling well, so he understandably didn’t post in that weather. But he was there with his favorite exercise.

From there, crab walk back to flag. It was very encouraging to see the faster guys encouraging the slower guys with lots of positivity. The first few people finish then wagon wheeled back to the six to finish with those guys. Awesome experience as always.

Got to the flag for a couple dealers choice exercises.

Giggles calls SSH×15 IC

Bookworm calls LBACs. ×15 IC.

Count o rama 8

Name o rama.

AAR. Again, Serena is a pro. Good command. Good mobility around the park. Good assortment of exercises. Great encouragement throughout the Work out.

BOM. Drummer Boy closes with a prayer.

For an alumni and one of the few graduates of OGM, it gives me great happiness, healthy pride for God’s work, and encouragement to see the Mission guys consisntly come out to join in that circle. To hear them praise God first and foremost for the things happening in their lives. Also to see other alumni consisntly post after leaving the mission is an awesome thing to see. To see the in crowd, the few guys who are not only mentors at the mission, but examples of true Godly friends and positive influences to us. Tclaps to all for their part in these lives being touched. Bookworm pushed himself and struggled but never gave up. He beat that sadclown Saturday. And being his 3rd workout, he received one of the new and improved mission AO shirts. Praise God and thanks to everyone coming out to support those guys and us.

Enterprise out.
