Still Collectively Opposed to Running Exercises, AKA-SCORE pax had a taste of a No Running workout and still had a high level of mumblechatter. What’s up with that?
Conditions: Maybe the nicest/warmest morning this year – 67 and a little windy
The Thang: Since we didn’t run, we had a Tabata Thursday and got some work done. As a reminder, Tabata is a series of high intensity exercises: 4 minutes with 20 seconds AMRAP and a 10 second rest x 8 reps.
As much as I remember, the exercises were:
SSH
Dips (#CrowdPleaser)
Step-Ups
LBC
Merkins (#doublecrowdpleaser)
Imperial Walkers
Squats
Planks
Total Distance covered – .23 miles but we walked. No running but good high intensity with work to failure (especially Merkins) and good extended Heart Rate elevation.
