Rinse and Repeat

Conditions: Perfect for making little puddles on the tennis court

Disclaimer

Rinse and Repeat doesn’t refer to the workout details, but actually the pax. TomTom and Jar Jar, names so good they are worth saying twice (and being spelled properly). We were the only ones #legit enough to post today (I didn’t know Spring Break was for adults too). I relented on the initial plan of just going to my backyard to lay sod, so instead we focused on the core and had only 0.6 miles of mosey.  Sweet!

Moseys around perimeter and to tennis court. Exercises included the following:

SSH and Imperial Walkers

Partner Dora: 75 pullups and deep Squats

Cusack with blocks

Ugly ladder: Merkin on brick/OHP, 9:1, 8:2, 7:3, etc. #crowdpleaser

Corework at scattered times x alot: Russian twists (w blocks), Iron Crosses, Hello Dolly, Iron Dolly, Alphabet, Pulseups, LBCs, flutterkick, boxcutters, BBSU, Sidebends w blocks

Plankwork at scattered times: Alabama @sskickers, Makhtar N’Diayes, Merkins, Peter Parkers, Shoulder Taps, Alternating Knee Taps

More overhead press, upright row, Crazy 7 Curls for the Girls

Return blocks by Cusack as able, Mosey to playground

Bearcrawl Suicides, Inchworm

Repeat Pullup Dora x 50

Merkins

Endex

Countorama

Announcements: Be on the lookout for information about Scripture Memory Challenge in the next 2 weeks.

Devo: Brief intro to the purpose behind the upcoming Scripture Memory Challenge. Why should we memorize God’s word?

  1. It grows our love for God (Deut 6:4-6)
  2. God commands it (Joshua 1:8)
  3. It saturates our hearts with truth, all the time (Is 55:8)
  4. It equips us for spiritual warfare and helps us to withstand temptation (Eph 6:17)
  5. It satisfies our needs (Mt 4:4)
  6. It fuels and equips our witness (1 Pet 3:15)
  7. It improves our prayer (Mt 6:9)
