3 pax came to #TheYard for YHC’s Q after some time off from iron swinging. YHC hadn’t yet realized the AOQ had put the pressure on with a gladiator meme to pump of the pax. Unfortunately, the workout wasn’t as awesome as the meme.
Conditions: muggy.
The Thang: following the disclaimer, the pax warmed up with a lap around the circus maximus, in true gladiator form. Followed by SSH, IW’s, butt kicks, high knees, merkins, squats & BBSU’s, all x 20 OYO.
We took another lap.
KB Revolutions (halos, slingshots, around the world, Fig. 8’s, hunch backs) all x 10 both ways.
Take a lap.
Double Arm Swings x 20, Squats x 20, Calf Raises x 40, LBC’s x 20, all OYO.
Take a lap.
Waiter Press x 10 (each arm), Snatches x 10 (each arm), wood chops x 10 (each arm), Russian Twists x 20, all OYO.
Lap.
Curls for the Girls x 20, Triceps Exts. x 20, Chest Press x 40, BBSU’s x 20, all OYO.
Lap it out.
Bell Merkins x 10 (each arm), Leg raises w/ bell x 10 (each leg), squat thrust x 10, all OYO, then Boat/Canoe w/ bell on YHC’s count to the end.
No time for a lap.
