Honored to be back at The Fox, the place where it all began for YHC in F3 back in April 2014. Lots of good memories at this AO. 9 men beat the fartsack and took the DRP with me this morning. Everything was pretty straightforward. Tried to stay on the move to keep the heart rate up. Covered a couple of miles and did a lot of good reps. Here’s what happened…

- Non repping partner bear crawls to light pole (~40 yards) and then backwards runs back during these 1st 2 exercises
- 150 squats
- 200 LBCs
- Non repping partner crab walks to light pole (~40 yards) and the backwards runs back for these last 2 exercises

Great effort by the PAX today. A little bit of complaining about the warm-up, but we powered through it. Definitely feeling the calves tonight. The back is a little sore as well for some reason. Ran into Prom at lunch and he said he was reeling. Enjoyed some light criticism of Russian twist form from Venti, which can also be described more accurately as a mini-meltdown by our beloved AOQ. Some discussion about the prevalence of mediocrity in our lives at times – specifically the Gamecocks’ 3-3 record and Westwood’s 4-4 mark. The positive in those situations is that we frequently have a chance to turn things around and make a run. Then the bad/average is usually forgotten. Being present and committed is a good starting point for overcoming adversity in life.
