No tricks or treats at Battle

Another Saturday at #Battle where limits are pushed, sanity is questioned and the #DRP is served in a manner akin to drinking water from a fire hydrant. This week featured a return to #Battle for YHC who, due to apprehension and a variety of other commitments, had not posted on the hallowed grounds of AC Flora High School in quite some time. Scheduled to co-Q with Chop Shop, who YHC had yet to speak to, YHC discovered that his co-Q was Master Splinter, one of the baddest dudes in all of F3 Nation.  Splinter answered the call to arms late Friday night, and, like always, was ready to push the PAX to new levels.  We did serious work.

 

Conditions – Irrelevant at Battle (51 and clear – perfect burpee weather)

Round 2 – Partner 1 runs to top of Belmont and back down while Partner 2 does AMRAP Snow Angels w/Pavers.

Round 3 – Partner 1 runs to top of Belmont and back down while Partner 2 does AMRAP Shoulder Press w/Bricks.

 

Single file run down West Buchanan Drive, take left onto Beltline, circle up in parking lot at Sato.

  • It was a true honor to co-Q with Splinter this AM. YHC has been personally impacted by his example and is better for knowing Splinter. A true #HIM.
  • T-Claps to Pinkman for making his first post at #Battle this AM. He crushed the circuits on Belmont Hill.
  • PAX covered 2.5 miles this morning while doing a variety of unpleasant things.
  • While Belmont Hill is not Rutland Court the length of Belmont Hill makes it quite miserable.
