7 men posted to #Legion Thursday morning, hoping for the opportunity to #GetBetter, to get stronger, and to see if they were #LegionLegit. YHC planned a paver workout, focusing primarily on the upper body and core muscles. This Q was somewhat of a combination of past Q’s that YHC found “memorable”, along with some other special things (like 15 minutes of Mary). Here’s how the #LegionPaverPowerHour went down.
Warm-up mosey around #Legion perimeter (.5 mi).
Grab pavers from behind concession stand.
Meet in right center field.
COP:
- 30 SSH IC
- 30 LBC’s IC
- 20 Arm-Raises w pavers IC (Front and side)
The Thang:
“The PYT Special”
(Completed with pavers and all PAX together)
1 Merkin, stand up, 4 shoulder presses.
2 Merkins, stand up, 8 shoulder presses. Repeat all the way to 10 Merkins, 40 shoulder presses.
Drop pavers for 7 Big Arm Circles, frwd then bkwd, IC
Back down the PYT Special.
9 Merkins, 36 shoulder presses, and all the way back down.
Mosey to playground, 3 PAX drop pavers otw.
Split PAX into 2 groups.
Group 1- AMRAP pull ups (1 min)
Group 2- AMRAP man makers w pavers. (A burpee with a row at the bottom)
Switch.
RInse and repeat for 45 secs.
Switch.
Rinse and repeat for 30 secs.
Mosey back to baseball field, PAX drop off remaining pavers.
Mary:
- 1 min strict High Plank, straight into 1 min strict Low Plank
- 3 mins with feet not touching the ground, while completing 1 min of boat/canoe, 25 Flutter Kicks IC, 15 Iron crosses OYO
- Rinse and repeat 3 times

T-Claps to Hee-Haw and Minion for running a 2 miler Pre-#Legion. Impressive stuff. The PAX worked hard that morning and several of them texted YHC to tell him how “great” they felt later that day. My pleasure fellas. Way to step up and take the #DRP as you always do.
