F3TheMission 3 year convergence 3/31/2018

It was a gorgeous day for a workout. Mid to upper 50s. The anniversary of the mission fell on Easter weekend so we were able to celebrate not only the mission AO anniversary but our risen saviour. And 52 pax is an awesome sight to see at my home AO. TClaps to all who posted. A few pax posted for Battle at Finlay before the mission convergence. And 2 pax ran another mile afterwards.

 

So we started with COP before counting off in 3s and moving to our pain stations.

 

COP:

COP: SSHx15 ic, TTTx15 ic, LBACx15 ic each way, chopper squats( must say it was hilarious to watch TW shakin his hips during this) x 15 ic, Bend &Reach x 15 ic, iron cross x 15 ic.

Count off by 3’s. 1’s stay at shovel flag with Enterprise. 2’s follow Drummer Boy to the Amphitheater. 3’s follow Serena to the climbing walls. Switch after 10 min when you hear the horn. When everyone has done all 3 stations, come back to the shovel flag for 6 minutes of Mary.

 

Pain Station 1: Q- Enterprise

3 was my target number for 3 years. Start at the flags and do 3 squats OYO.

Bear crawl to giant orange cone. 3 Burpees.

Bear crawl back for 3 squats. AMRAP until finished. When the third and last group showed up I added 3 merkins in the middle both between squats and burpees and burpees to squats.

 

Pain Station 2: Q-Drummer Boy

Pax box jumps up each step to the top then back down. On each step alternating reps of 10 each:

Iron Cross and squats. Up to top then back down.

2nd set:

Monkey humpers and flutter kicks.

As the pax do this, 2 pax carry a big wooden cross that was made for the F3Columbia Cross Ruck up and down the stairs in the middle. 10 minutes into the workout at the newly christened Amphitheater of Stiches Choo Choo busted his shin open and later received 13 stitches.

I thoroughly enjoyed not only leading my AO but seeing the numbers of pax that posted. F3TheMission is a very important and mostly positive AO. Having battled addiction and successfully gone through the OGM program it humbles me and makes me joyful to see guys making strides toward God and a better life. And being there to assist them whenever I can is an awesome feeling. Awesome to see a couple pax from Palmetto Place. The one AO more important than the mission AO. Big congrats to Heisenberg for leading the AO for the last year and a big congrats to Training Wheels for stepping up to take hold of the reigns. Awesome things are in store for these guys in the future. And all pax from surrounding regions including myself are encouraged to post every now and then to shows these guys the love and dedication deeply rooted in these circles. All in all it was a great workout with all three Fs. Thanks again to all who posted.
