The project will officially kickoff this Monday, April 16th, and run through July 15th. Over these 3 months, you and a brother will be memorizing a large amount of Scripture, but typically only about 4 verses weekly. Remember, how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. It can probably be accomplished with 30-60 minutes of work weekly, but it is far better to a few minutes at a time repeatedly than all at once (see BB article http://babylonbee.com/news/local-family-frantically-memorizes-bible-verses-way-awana/ ) . Over the next few days, I will post various tips and tricks you can try, as well as links to useful sites (https://www.desiringgod.org/articles/scripture-memory-made-simple for example). The important thing is faithfulness, and that is why you will have 1 or 2 guys both encouraging you, but also you won’t want to let them down by not putting in the effort. (The registration fee will help too with that, plus cover the patch at the end). The first assigned Scriptures will come this and each following Saturday or Sunday, and you begin them on Mondays. By next weekend, you should have made contact with your partner and started helping each other learn and checking each others progress.

- Send $10 to my Paypal account [email protected] (its a different email address than I will be using during the project; only use for Paypal) . Any funds leftover at the end will be donated to charity. See #4
- In the “Add a Note” comment section of your payment above, copy and paste the same demographic info from your email
- Download the Remember Me app (if you have a different app you prefer, thats ok too) and familiarize yourself with its tools
- Consider purchasing a small notebook or notecards to carry around
- Start praying for this project
As this point, details are a little flexible, and as we see what works and what doesn’t , there may be some changes on the fly. Additionally, if you have any suggestions or questions, please hit us up. The only thing that really matters here (and everywhere really) is that God receives the glory in whatever we do.
