9 Reindeer in the throws of the late rut post for a #BlockCircuitBeatDown. YHC was honored to be invited by AOQ CornStache for a Christmas Eve Throw Down at Memorial Stadium.
Conditions: Low 70’s and damp
The Thang: Welcome and Disclaimer by YHC. Brief vocabulary lesson. Warm up with COP: SSH x 20, IW x 20, Squats x 20, Merkins x 20, LBC’s x 20, Low Country Crabs x 20, SSH Burpees (5 SSH, followed by 2 burpees) x 4 (threw in a 21st SSH for good measure). All IC.
Grab 1 Block each and head to end of parking lot for circuit work.
Circuit 1: With Block- Block Merkins x 5 (each side), Incline Merkins x 10, Decline Merkins x 10, then run to opposite end of parking lot and perform 20 BBSitups. Run back to block. R&R for 5 minutes.
Circuit 2: With Block- Curls for the Girls x 20, Triceps Exts. x 20, Shoulder Press x 20, run to opposite end of parking lot and perform 5 One-legged burpees (each leg). Run back to block. R&R for 5 minutes.
Karaoke to end of parking lot and back. Fortunately, YHC didn’t injure any one this time.
Final Leg: Clapping Burpees x 5 followed by Rolling Get Ups w/ block x 10. R&R until time is called. YHC assigned his block return to his little brother, who promptly assigned same to HeeHaw, who promptly complained about it. Is delegation leadership or harassment? Ponder that over the holiday.
