If they say that two is company and three’s is a crowd, Furlough made good company for an 8.5 mile jog through the pre-dawn streets of Columbia. For the first time in what seems like ages, the weather was ideal for a long run which head out through Shandon and worked over to the State House. After a jaunt through the early morning crew setting up Soda City, we hooked a left and made a pass through the Lincoln Street Rail Road Tunnel and The Vista. We started making our way home through the USC Horseshoe, where we were energized by the bright lights and loud music of ESPN Sportscenter on location. Exiting campus, we head back through Old Shandon and even hooked on an extra half mile to bring the total up to eight miles. See the run here.
