60 PAX (including 1 FNG) emerged from the #Fartsack on this cloudy spring morning in search of a way to #GetBetter. Lingering in the #Gloom were Fountainhead and YHC, who came ready to offer up their services to the PAX of F3 Columbia in the rarest of all occasions, a F3 Columbia convergence. With rumblings of leadership transition mixed in with your typical #MumbleChatter, Fountainhead and YHC were looking for a way to celebrate our past and look with enthusiasm to our future. It was an honor to lead these #MinivanCenturions who left it all at on the campus of Dreher High School this morning as they each chewed up and spit out the #DRP.

• With Burpees and Merkins, PAX did a total of 195 Merkins (not counting AMRAP at the end). Couple that with tons of ab work, fair amount of moseying and other unpleasantness, and we #PushedTheRock this AM.
• #LarryBirds were not in short supply this morning as Splinter, Venti, Hustler, and Rossenbagger, among others, did their thing.
• To no one’s surprise, KJ put on a #MumbleChatter clinic this morning.
• Couple of observations: (1) PAX requesting executive order to eliminate the burpee not likely to occur and (2) 82 flutter kicks, even if you know their coming, are still horrible.
• T-Claps to our FNG (Myles Burns), who is now known as Captain D’s. Myles was wearing a sailing club t-shirt, and initially was given the moniker Jack Sparrow, but the name was considered too kind. Hence, Captain D’s.
• In the words of F’Head: Leadership is a great responsibility. It is, according to the mission of F3, intended to bear fruit well beyond our organization. Wherever you see the opportunity, wherever you see the need, step forward. Too many men seek the privilege of titles while too few shoulder the responsibility of real leadership. Let F3, and the men of F3Columbia specifically, be recognized as a band of brothers ready to do the hard work of leading this community from the many positions we fill.
