Those blocks are a long way away

The pax of f3 saluda started to pull into the parking lot with a few minutes to spare. There were tales of how much of a beat down Ranger brought on Saturday.

YHC had the Q for the first time (at boot camp) since hip surgery in October. YHC was worried that the Q would not be much of a workout.

The thang:

COP – YHC decided to start with the circle of Mary.  Pulley Bone got carried away with the LBAC.  Hitch and Kindard double teamed us with back to back LBCs so the Q took back over and started moved on before the circle of pain really hurt someone.

YHC was told that there were blocks behind the school. YHC was also warned that they were really far from the parking area. No running for YHC so we were going to WORK our way over there.

Mosey over to the drive way. Partner up, while P1 lunged down the driveway P2 did 10 hand release merkins. P2 run up and catch P2, flapjacks.

At the end of drive way plank it up.

In the parking lot on the side of the school, reverse lunge and hand release merkins in partners same as before.

At the middle of the parking lot we stopped for more planks.

The lunges were replaced with bear crawls and the merkins were swapped out for squats. Same partners same drill.

At the end of the parking lot, we stopped for more planks and the Pax met Bert Renolds.

If you are wondering about the blocks, no we were not there yet.

Beard crawls were replaced with crawl bear and we kept WORKING our way to the blocks.  At least e an see them in the distance.

With about 100 yards to go to get to the blocks we switched back tok walking lunges and instead of squats it was hip taps.

With about 50 yards to go we swapped to reverse lunges and hip taps.

We finally made it to the blocks with about 10 minutes left. YHC broke out the interval timer and and set to work with the block work.

The plan was to do the following movement (1 minute on 30sec rest x3): Mountain climbers, bent over row, curls, over head press, triceps extensions and then Ranger Burpees (All the other moves combined)

It does not take a mathematician to figure out I didn’t have time for that. Mountain climbers, rows and Ranger burpees were done before calling time. It was a really long way back and the 3 min allowed to get back to the car wasn’t quite enough.
