Calling all F3 Columbia PAX! YHC is looking for several PAX for a great opportunity to help our community and benefit a great cause. Most folks in the area know one of the most scenic spots in Columbia is the tulip garden in front of Trenholm Road United Methodist Church. This garden consists of approx 6000 tulip bulbs that make for a great place for family photos in the spring. This year the PAX of F3 Columbia have been requested to plant the 6,000 bulbs. The best part is with our assistance in beautifying our community we will also be raising money for a charity of our choice.
So here is the deal:
Show up at Trenholm Rd. United Methodist Church at 8 am on Saturday, November 23rd. We will provide several gas powered augers to assist. We will need PAX to man the augers and other pax to plant and cover the bulbs. YHC understands that this should take approx 3-4 hours to plant and cover 6000 bulbs.
What you need:
Pax will not need to bring any tools. Just bring a pair of work gloves and be ready to go at 8 am this Saturday.
