The good news: The PAX of Ambush have no equal when it comes to the creativity of mumble chatter.
The bad news: The PAX of Ambush have no equal when it comes to the creativity of their “modifying”. Pretty sure Juice subbed out all of YHC’s ab exercises for gas pumpers. He really, REALLY loves those.
#TCLAPs to the men of Ambush with a solid TEN PAX for SL. That’s strong, fellas!!
Conditions: 68 and perfect
The Thang —
Mosey a lap around the lot with high-knees and butt-kicks mixed in, then circle up just outside of the ready-made octa-circle in the courtyard.
YHC made the decision to park his car in near the courtyard, so as to be able to haul the “toys” easier. Apparently several PAX were terribly disappointed to find out that we would, in fact, not be flipping YHC’s quite old, but trusty 2005 Nissan Sentra. With their dreams crushed, YHC led them to the courtyard for warm up:
Merkins x50 OYO
SSH x40 IC
Monkey Humpers x30 IC
TTT x20 IC
LBAC x10 IC
OHC x10 IC
RTR x10 IC
LBAC(rev) x10 IC
Count off in pairs
1’s will do listed exercise, 2’s will AMRAP the ab exercise. When the 1’s finish the reps, flap jack R&R. When both have gone, rotate counter clockwise to next station
Station 1: 15 lb curls x20, BBSU
Station 2: Brick in & out x20, FK
Station 3: Kettlebell swings x20, LBC’s
Station 4: Block shoulder press x20, American Hammer
Station 5: Bench dips, heel touches
Station 6: Box jumps, Iron Cross
Station 7: Bear Crawl halfway around loop, Freddy Mercury
After all PAX have rotated through, and after Paper Jam tests YHC’s Nissan’s rear suspension (I just replaced it a couple years ago, still lots of spring in her step), head to loop, sprint to first tall light post
From there, lunge to stop signs
Sprint to speed bump
Inchworm to SF
Broadjump to awning
Find a post, people’s chair with x10 OHC IC
Back to stations, this time x10 reps for the 1’s until time is called.

Devo — Romans 8 38,39
38And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
How awesome is that!? God’s not going to get mad at the failures you have today (and there will be some). He’s not mad at you for your past mistakes. As Paul said, nothing will separate you from God’s love, not even yourself. Take comfort in that. Remember it when the enemy wants you to feel stranded, and all alone.
