The Haynes

YHC took the Q this morning trying to decide if it would be speed work or a normal 4 to 5 ish mile loop, Why not a little of both. It has been a long time since the Pax took on our fitness test, the Haynes. Another selfish reason to run the Haynes is that YHC has never actually run it. Yes, YHC dreamed it up but he has always rucked it in the past. Today was the day to remedy that.
The thang:
The Haynes route is a roughly 1 mile loop. The course is one lap around the park and to the end of Long Terrace and back. There are agility obstacles placed around the park.
The course starts at the flag running up college street toward Bernard St
Left on Bernard St and right onto Long Terrace
All the way to the bottom of Long Terrace to Crosson St and turn around and run back up the hill to the park
Cross Bernard St and take a right back onto the park side walk, navigate the running ladder
Continue around the park track to the corner where the pax karaoke facing away from the park to the slight bend in the side walk and then turn and karaoke facing into the park to the next corner (Boy Scout Hut)
At the next corner the pax back pedal to the picnic tables then at the next intersection in the side walk, high knee run to the balance beam (don’t use the balance beams).
Continue to run around the park until you are back at the flag to completing one lap.
Rinse and repeat until time is up

Good work to all the men who posted this morning.  Tclaps to Doodle for setting the lap time to beat on the new strava segment. Tclaps to Cootie who continues to post PRs every week. Tclaps to Stay Puff for coming back strong after going under the knife.  Tclaps to for his dedication and posting very consistently to both Rooster and Smokehouse.  Tclaps to T&G for putting in the work to get ready for Dam to Dam and the P200.
