Record heat wave hits Ambush, draws large crowds

As 5 o’clock drew near C.A.T.’s Twitter message board was a buzz over the temperatures. I soon realized Ambush had the highest temperature in Lexington, coming in at a toasty 16°. Once word got out all I could see was headlights heading towards Ambush to enjoy the warmth. After giving the one minute warning from inside my truck everyone hurriedly circled up for a quick disclaimer and prayer.

This is how it went down. We moseyed from the middle school to the elementary school. Halfway there Pow Pow shows up. I called for a stop to the mosey and 10 merkins OYO to keep the blood moving. Then with Pow Pow we continue to mosey to a secret “area 51” courtyard at the elementary school. Juice witnessed a shooting star on the way so everyone stopped and did one burpee.
