PAIN was “In the Cards” at Graveyard

I enjoy traveling around to different AOs to Q, especially Graveyard. Bulldog and the PAX there have a great thing going and always make me feel welcome.

We missed the AOQ who was out of town as well as the Graveyard’s designated counter Spackle who was on his honeymoon in the distant an exotic land of Charleston, SC. It was great to see Double Fault for the first time in a while following a pretty rough knee injury. He’s been at Boneyard getting back to his old form, but this was my first time seeing my favorite UF QB in far too long.

Overall, numbers were a little lower this morning than normal (presumably due to colder temps), but those who made were ready and willing to work hard – and they did.

For those looking for details, here’s how things went down…

WEATHER

COP
SSH X 10 IC

Dealers’ Choice
Using a regular deck of cards (with Aces, twos, three and four removed) and following the key below:

SPADES = leg exercise
(these included: squats, monkey jumpers, prisoner squats, lunges, gorilla squats, jump squats)
DIAMONDS = core exercise
(these included: 4-ct. flutter kicks, leg raises, BBSU, LBCs, )
HEARTS = chest/shoulder exercise
(these included: merkins, CDD, t-plank merkins, hand-release merkins)

I passed out one card per PAX per round. After each PAX played his card and the group performed the corresponding exercise, we ran one lap around the parking lot and returned to our circle. We completed laps until time was up. Our fifth and final lap was to the top of cemetery hill where we completed our exercises and ran back to the flag to RECOVER
