O Say Can You See?

Weather: 24 degrees & clear

The Thang:

Intro, Disclaimer, Prayer

The weather was a lot warmer when YHC decided to kick the year off with a Q at Crusade, but it felt great after the first mile.

8 pax started the year off right with 4 – 5 miles of cold, fresh air.

The shovel flag was allegedly smart-sacking, so we could not see it in the dawn’s early light. We headed out towards his plantation.

Head left out of the parking lot. Turn left at Old Cherokee and run up the hill. Left on Plantation drive. Run the loop. After 22 minutes turn around and retrace your steps.

Since we don’t know where the shovel flag lives, we didn’t ring his doorbell.

Devo – Gratitude

Psalm 100

YHC is not big on new year’s resolutions, but my focus word for this year is Gratitude. There are several podcasts on my regular playlist, and several of them have already been talking about gratitude in various ways.

We are all blessed in many ways, but we usually take the blessings for granted and focus on problems or deficiencies. It was 24 degrees today, but there was no rain. We were all healthy enough to enjoy a run together.

This year gratitude will be my focus, not annoyances or problems.
