This week has been #nationalpoliceweek. A week where people across the nation show appreciation for those in uniform who make our communities a safe place to work and live. Today’s WO was dedicated to these breve men and women. A total of 7 PAX came out this warm and clear morning to get better. One was a solo runner. Two did a 5.5 run before the workout that went something like this.
After opening prayer and disclaimer mosey around for a moment for warm up of SSH, TT Tunnel, Tea Party Toe Touches, Imperial walkers. Mosey again and do more warm up of hillbilly’s, slow-mo squats.
The Main Event: Mosey over to the far side of the parking lot. A total of 16 stations were set in separate parking spots. Exercises consisted 4 each of core, lower body upper body and cardio.
LBCs, squats, SSH, curls for the girls, BB Sit us, calf raises, imperial walkers, overhead press, iron cross, alternating lunges, chest press, jump rope, flutter kick, dead lift, mercans, suicides.
Each PAX starts in a spot and does exercise for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes rotate to another station. Go through all stations. Rinse and repeat a second circuit for 30 seconds each. And recover. Good work as always. Great turn out for a Saturday. Men who come early to work out are always inspiring. I hope that I was inspiring to them.
