Devo: Pslams 1:1-2

‘Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord , and who meditates on his law day and night. ‘ Psalm 1:1-2 https://www.bible.com/bible/111/PSA.1.1-2

Pay attention to a couple words:
Walk, Sit, Stand, Meditate

When you Walk, you eventually get tired of walking and then stand where you have been walking.

When you Stand, you eventually get tired of standing and then sit where you have been Walking.

To meditate comes from the the word related to how a cow would chew on grass.  not to swallow it as fast as possible but to “chew on it” and think about it for a while.  This is how we should read God’s Word.

The progression is pretty clear. You eventually adapt to your surroundings.

The positive is also true.  If you want to be a faster runner, then run with someone faster.

Hopefully we choose wisely.
