YHC hasn’t run much since the Hairy bison and still recovering from bronchitis so a little SL was done before bootcamp. Nursing an ankle problem that has become chronic so miles keep short. It’s always great to lead and workout with these Pax even when conditions are not so nice. Lets go to recess on the playground, picnic benches, and basketball court!

Understand ones difficulty .
“Scorn has broken my heart and has left me helpless; I looked for sympathy, but there was none, for comforters, but I found none” (Psalm 69:20).
Ignoring the difficulty may not build someone up especially if they are struggling. Sometimes avoiding the tough conversation can make their situation worse because they can’t find empathy. As believers we can ask God for wisdom to give a word of encouragement even in the worst of days. Our response should be sympathetic and grounded in the love of Christ.
Consider this related to the above passage.
He(King David) desperately needed some consolation from a friend, but when he sought for comfort, he found none. Instead, the king’s fair-weather friends were not content to merely refuse their sympathy, “they aggravated and embittered his sufferings, as though one were to mock a hungry man by offering him bitter and poisonous food, or a thirsty man by giving him sour and undrinkable wine”
What do you have to offer not only your friends but those who you do not know?
Your brother,
Katniss
