Bernard street was not ready this AM for the Fartleking, Indian running bad boys of Rooster. We had the guest PAX Peg from F3 Summerville for two days now. YHC, and everyone else has enjoyed getting better with a bro from anotha’ AO. Here is what we did. As usual we all got better in the belly of the gloom.

The Ruckers three headed off on a nice paced stroll down The Rooster’s main strip for an out and back. Hollywood, Puck, and Wino had each other to have mumble chatter. Sky Q only knows what kinds of things were discussed.
YHC led the runners this morning on our usual smorgasbord of speed work, but since we are F3 we always push that rock a little further than the time before.
We warmed up with a mosey down main until we hit the stoplight. We Fartleked back up main, left on College, right on Speaks and hung the wet right onto Trotter. We took turns calling out the Fartlek destinations. Everyone got one in before the stop sign on Trotter, very nice.
Left on Bernard and mosey down to the bottom and wait on the six at lick creek.
Next up Indian Run up the Lick Creek climb. Its only 110 feet of incline stretched over a half-mile.
Recover at the top and mosey to toward The Rooster on Bernard. At the park it begins dealer choice. We continued from that driveway, right on College, left on Main, about face after approx a quarter mile on Main. In that entire span we:
Backpedalled
Karaoke’d
Lunged
Sprinted
Burpee Broad Jumped
We made our way to College and made our way to Long Terrace and moseyed to the bottom. About face and sprint the climb on Long Terrace. Urkel got the crown, T claps buddy.
Head back to the flag, to await lung recovery.
