Fun and games @ the Shank

Great exercises are always the fun ones when you don’t know how hard you are working until you are finished dripping in sweat. Maybe we can blame the sprinklers or the humidity today, but either way, work was done.

Weather was a cool 68 degrees with clear skies.

Disclaimer, prayer, warmup

We circled the main field to warm up , then circled up.

20 reps of the following IC: Imperial Walkers, Through the tunnel, Windmills, SSH, Morocan Nightclubs (arms out, rotate palms up, then down) and overhead claps.

Then the fun began. We started along the goal line of the main field. We took turns throwing a frisbee (or aerobee which was all I could find at home). Where ever it landed all pax stopped and did 10 reps of an exercise. We did this all the way to the tree line. As we crossed the sidewalk halfway, we switched exercises. Same exercise there and back.

First field – Big Boy Sit Ups

Second field – Mountain Climbers (10 each leg)

Second trip was: Jackass Murkins (murkin with a donkey kick at the end) and Lunges on the second field (10 each leg)

Next was a fun game of Rock Paper Scissors. Pax found a partner and played RPS. The winner of each game got a point. The goal was to get to 10 points. The winner got to skip the punishment exercise and move on to a new partner. The looser had to do 10 monkey humpers. If there was a tie, both pax did one burpee.

Congrats to Big Box for getting to 11 points and winning the game.

Time flew by and we all had fun.
