It’s peak jogging season, and since we’ve lost Pearl to the flatback tribe, Q’s run thin at the Region’s premier/only distance rucking AO. Time to bring in new blood (starting with Cross-Ruck on Friday) to share in the joy; but in the meantime, here’s what happened this week:

Monday Devo: Wandering Sheep
Matthew 18:10-13, “10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.[11]
12 ‘What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.’”
Wednesday Devo: Give it up, man
Shared a tweet from the CS Lewis tribute account:
“Give up yourself & you will find your real self. Lose your life & you will save it. Submit to death, death of your ambitions & favorite wishes every day & the death of your whole body in the end…Nothing in you that has not died will ever be raised from the dead.”
