After a two-week break from Clash, 9 PAX posted for a comfortable game of froccer. Last week there was confusion on if Clash was going to resume with soccer or frisbee, so with 9 PAX posting, Froccer seemed like to best choice, and it allowed for a great game. Team 1 consisted of Steel Toe, Pothole, Bonsai, Paint Chip, and Floppy Disc, while Team 2 included the rest of us.
Team 1 had a strong start with their man-advantage. They were up 9-4, when Floppy Disc said that he would switch teams. This served Team 2 well as it allowed them to come end the game with a “Next Goal Ends, Next Goal Wins” scenario with both teams tied at 17 apiece, to which Team 2 won off of a blistering flick to the lower left corner.
Highlights and Honorable Mentions:
- FN3’s diving game was on point as he saved Team 2 numerous times
- Double Fault scoring goals from about 30 to 50 yards. I believe he was about 80% scoring from that range.
- Team 1 ran all over Team 2
- Field was wet, so drops were very prevalent
MVP: JD with staunch defense and 110% effort
