• When: 2018-02-15
  • QIC: Shakespeare
  • The PAX: Tory, Perdue, Shakespeare

They are called “FREE” throws.

3 PAX braved the down right comfortable conditions to get better today.  Without the motivation to keep moving to stay warm, it was hard not to just sit down and enjoy the cool breeze and fresh air and talk about our feelings, but somehow, someway the PAX pushed through it.  It was good having twitter-less Perdue back from a basketball induced ankle injury.  Mystery solved.

The conditions: 60ish, clear and nice, just nice.

The thang:

SSH IC X10
Thru the tunnel IC X10
IW IC X10
Hillbilly IC X10

5 Dot drills
Up and back X10
Z-Left X5
Z-Right X5

3 sets of:
5 Pull Ups
10 Merkins
20 Squats

To the hoops for some “biathlon” Foxhole style.  PAX take a lap, then shoot 5 free throws as a group.  In the real biathlon, every missed shot earns the contestant a penalty lap in addition to their normal ski course.  At Foxhole today, every miss earned bear crawls for a length of 2 poles.  Miss 4, that’s 8 poles worth of bear crawls.  We also changed method of movement for each lap.  Laps consisted of:
Running
Backwards Running
Skipping
SSH-ing
Lunging
Running

YHC is proud to say that what the PAX lacked in shooting accuracy, we made up for in precision.  That is to say, we never varied very far from our average of making one shot out of five.  In our defense, it was dark and depth perception was an issue.

Finish up with some suck hill starting with 10 merkins at the bottom and 1 BBSU at the top, decreasing and increasing by 1, respectively, until time ran out.
