This weeks WOW comes from the godfather of Thunder, Subprime. Unfortunately, YHC couldn’t make this workout and it’s too bad, cause this was a beauty. Check out the full BB with an excellent devo here, the workout and my thoughts on it are below.
The Thang: Depart COT running under the covered walkway – pause on the side yard.

Depart Side Yard running toward front of school on Woodrow
- Bearcrawl the semi-circle, brick walkway
- Proceed to the corner of Woodrow and Wheat upon completion of bearcrawls; do SSH while waiting on the 6
Proceed down Wheat St. toward Maple – pause at Maple
- Burpees – 10 (OYO)
Continue down Wheat turning left onto Holly and left into the St. Johns parking lot
Round 1
- Suicides – Run to the 2nd parking line and back
- Run to the 2nd island and back
- Run to the sidewalk and back
- Rinse & Repeat

- Suicides – Bearcrawl to the 2nd parking line and run back

Depart St. Johns headed up Holly toward Devine. Stop at the old Strobler

Cross Devine (carefully) and enter the Henry’s parking lot

Proceed up Devine (on the sidewalk) crossing Maple and stopping at the Schneider School Apts

The Goods: For some reason YHC always loves when a workout goes off campus. There’s something to be said for on-campus workouts as well, but going out into the surrounding area can make things fun. Especially around Thunder.
It’s the way the moves are put together that makes this a special workout. Take the Merkin, Tuck Jumps, Sky Ups, Squat sequence that was done 4 times. All hard moves done at exactly the right time in the workout (about 25-30 minutes in). One time of that is hard. Subby works in some running in-between to lighten the load, but that part was nasty.
