5 PAX threw on their cleats to join up in the gloom for a shot at The Home Plate. YHC presented the Stumble PAX with a challenging 5.5 mile route pushing us all to over-achieve in order to finish within the 45 minutes allotted, and that we did. YHC carried the six with 2 minutes to spare… strong work by all!
It was a little different running over the Rosewood Bridge this morning. The all-too-familiar smell of flooded homes and memories grabbed me for a moment. Although so many of us gave selflessly over the past week, we must remain diligent and recognize that there is still much to do. So many of our neighbors, friends and families now face the difficult task of rebuilding their homes and lives, they don’t have the option to just go back to their normal lives as most of us do. The recovery from this disaster is much more kin to the BRR than a 5k.
