6 Stumblers posted for the old standby route, Chimney Hill Out n’ Back. This route is just under 4 miles and can be a little tricky. The first 1.9 miles can lull you to sleep as you easily run along the mostly downhill quiet neighborhood roads of the Hamptons. However, once you make the turn to come back, it is 1.9 miles going mostly up.
YHCs intentions were to have PAX use the downhill section of the course to go after the Strava #MyMile promotion (chance to win free shoes!). Only Pipeline went after the challenge but came up a little short of his mile PR. Tclaps to Heist for putting in some extra work and getting 12 miles total with his pre and post-Stumble runs.
The Route:
Right out of the AO, right onto Galway, right onto Sayecut, left onto Old Woodlands, left onto Hampton Trace, right onto Chimney Hill, Chimney Hill till it runs out, turn around and follow the same route back to the AO.
Devo:
Psalms 32:8 – I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
Allow God to work in your life. Listen for his voice and follow Him in trust!
