Brickpile is one of the more intimidating workouts for YHC. It’s an elite group of veterans who have seen young bucks come and go. Nothing rattles these men. They put their heads down and do their work. Gimmicks won’t impress them and charm will get you no where. YHC and 13 pax went down the road to see where this one would lead.
Conditions: 65 and clear.
The Thang: pax circled on the field for a SSH, Impirial Walkers, Merkin, Big boy sit up warm up. Wanting to warm up a little more, YHC had the pax lineup and do:
- high knees
- butt kicks
- Karaoke left then right
With the warmup out of the way it was time to work. Ran to the corner of Adger and Cassina for

Run to the corner of Adger and Devereaux for

- This was YHC virgin Q at Brickpile, hopefully not the last.
- YHC actually got the feeling that the pax enjoyed this…… well maybe that’s a little strong. Once the group got into it (and Robber got quite), you definitely saw some strong push out of the group. Strong work by all.
- Strava had YHC at 2.6 miles total, with all hills and exercises this was a good one.
