Leg Day at #Legion

YHC had been looking forward to this Q date, very thankful for the AOQ reminder, a double-booking almost led to a q-less workout.

Preparing for this year’s TRU50K has taught YHC about the character we can hone through the suffering that endurance training brings… and this one, brought a little more suffering than intended. Here’s what the Legion PAX endured:

Devo: While in El Salvador last month I had an opportunity to meet a man that admitted he spent most of his life creating problems, specifically fighting and his preferred weapon was his machete. He said he had stopped drinking 60 years ago prompting me to ask his age. The man said he was 92, possibly 93, he was born “in the trees” making his age uncertain. He went on to say he continued to start trouble until he accepted Christ 12 years ago… when he was 80… ish. Never give up, not on yourself, not on your loved ones, not on any of God’s children.
