This morning’s edition of Ramble called for some speed work. YHC thought it would be best to just keep things simple. So that’s what the PAX got. After a warm-up of about 1/2 mile, the PAX jumped into what was essentially Yassos.
The Thang:
Maintain 5K pace or faster the 1/2 mile loop from Woodrow at Wheat, left on Monroe, left on Maple all the way to Wilmot. Slow down for a brief rest, turn left on Wheat back to Woodrow. Do it all over again for 6 laps. An additional final cool down jog to King back to Devine to Woodrow. Total distance was about 5.4 miles. With 3 miles at top speed.
