9 PAX made their way to Hammer on a warm February morning to get their work in.
Conditions: 58 and humid, Spring-like
The Thang: warmups at the flag. SSH, merkins, slow squats IC x 10. High knees and butt kicks to first speed bump, 50% jog down to second speed bump and back.
Head to picnic pavilion. 2 sets X 2 each. 20 box jumps, 20 dips, 20 flutter kicks, then 20 split squats (10 each leg), 20 incline merkins, 20 Freddy Mercury’s. Plank in between.
Next, mosey to tennis courts for a burpee ladder. 5,10,15,20 burpees and back at the end of each court (#crowdpleaser). Then, 2 squats at end line on the courts and back (30 total).
Finally, out to the corner of the field and parter up. Partners combine for 100 merkins, 200 squats, 300 flutter kicks while one partner runs a lap around first two soccer fields. Then one big lap around the entire field and back to the flag at 0614:30 for BOM.
-No points for creativity were awarded to YHC, just constant motion. Great job by the PAX this morning to keep moving and keep the heart rate up through the whole workout. Not much rest time but everybody hung tough.
