Hosed down at the Blitz!

YHC had a very contemplative drive to the Blitz this morning as I pondered a last minute change in the work out plans to keep us off the ground….. but there was no change. Three pax appeared for a hose down by mother nature. The great thing about the blitz is that it is 15 minutes less in the rain, but no less a beatdown!

Conditions: 60 and very wet….. lots of rain.

The Thang:

Warm up jog on the road around the parking lot… into the park.

Circle up for SSH, plank jacks, freedom twists, squats. 20 count IC for each exercise.

We then split up on the small field by the playground (about 30 yards in length).

Burpees on one end x 20 count while a partner does LBCs on the other end x 20 count. As you run to the other end of the field to switch exercises, meet your partner in the middle and do 20 fist bump merkins with partner.

Continue this back and forth between Burpee – LBC  for 20 -15-10-5 count of each exercise, meeting partner in the middle of the field for fist bump merkins between each (also doing 20-15-10-5 count in the middle).

Mosey to the small parking lot by playground. Lunge walk across the lot and then do 20 iron cross with partner at the end.

Mosey to the playground for a circuit work out of the following set:

10 pull ups

10 box jumps

10 dips

10 second plank for a “rest” between each set”.

Goal was 5 sets (YHC lost count somewhere along the way. CornStache may have done 6 sets!).
