Baseball Diamond Dora

6 PAX including 1 FNG got in the game this morning at Eye of The Tyger as we played a Baseball Diamond Dora. It was a true dirt fest as we focused on shoulders and core while in the infield. Here’s a rundown of how it went:

Conditions: 68 degrees and perfect

Warm Up:
20 SSH IC

The Main Thang:
Mosey to the big ball field…and it just so happens the outfield gate was wide open. Score.

Pair up for Dora- while one PAX is running the bases, the other PAX is working on completing:
200 Merkins
300 Shoulder Taps Single Count
400 LBCs
Continue to rotate between running and exercises until each team completes all reps

Make a lap around the outfield fence

Broad Jump to second base
Bear Crawl to Third Base

Today was a special day for YHC as I remember back to a year ago when I first came to F3. Nailpop had been EHing me for months, and for whatever reason to no avail. When Walker got sick and started having seizures, Nailpop and his family were confined to the hospital for months. the F3 Brothers in Lexington and Columbia started to actually meet at the hospital to support Nailpop, to pray for Walker, and to have a place for Nailpop to workout. That “brotherly love” showed me something was different about this group, and when Nailpop said I had to come for Walker- I was in. Since then I have posted every week in some form or fashion, and I have made more friends…scratch that….I have more Brothers than I though possible. I have said it before, but I’m seeing life change in mens lives. Physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. God is moving in a real way, and it encourages constantly. This is what community looks like, and this is what leadership looks like. Thanks to all the Qs I have worked out underneath, and for all the guys that pour themselves out to make this work. If you are reading this, and you haven’t Q’d yet, I encourage you step up. Own it. Also- keep EHing. There are many guys in your community that are hungry for something just like this.
