Camden Casino Royale

Location: Rectory Square

The Pax (14): The video on my phone decided to crap out and not take any audio past the point of 14 PAX and Stats(Respect) & Tree Bark being the first two named.  I have a nice 1 minute video of the palm of my hand with no sound though.

I don’t think it will make any of the PAX feel better to know that I originally came up with this idea from a trip to Dave and Busters.  The plan strayed far from, let’s play games, to the casino plan that I came up.

Warm Up

Short Warm up as we are about to get a better “Warm Up”

Rectory Fountain Roulette

15 Minutes AMRAP

  • 4 Exercise Cards around the outside of the fountain wall
    • 25 SSH
    • 25 Mountain Climbers
    • 15 Squats
    • 15 Step Ups Each leg
  • Do each exercise and move to the next.
  • Songs played (approx. 15 minutes)
    • Gangnam Style
    • Get Ready for This
    • Eye of the Tiger
    • Sandstorm (I added this for the SC fans, it should be noted that I am such a Clemson fan I almost included Enter Sandman instead because I got confused)

Black Jack Deck of Death

Grab a block and head to the light pole for a little different spin on the deck of death.  Each PAX gets two cards, anybody who has less than 16 gets an extra card.  If anyone has 21 (Late call by Stats of his Blackjack hand) we all do 10-man makers.  Then proceed as normal with Deck of Death.

  • Spades: Curls
  • Clubs: Bench Press
  • Hearts: Bent over Rows
  • Diamonds: Overhead Press

F3 Craps

I got a set of educational dice that you can change out the sides of.

Exercises included: BBSU, Squat, Plank Jack, Freddy Mercury, LBC, & LBAC

Reps included: 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, & 50.

Each PAX got a change to roll the dice and see what came out.  Oddly Freddy Mercury was so common PAX started cheating and selecting their exercise instead of leaving it to “Chance.”  If I ever use these dice again I am switching the numbers and Exercises and putting the lowest number of reps where the Freddy Mercuries are now.

It’s always a humbling and wonderful experience getting to lead this group.
