Before the Storm

Thanks Mr Head for picking a great route. Only problem was you didn’t show-up to Q it. Thats okay YHC jumped in to Q the 5 pax that showed up. We started with a lite jog down #6 to Corley St to get the legs warmed up. A-Group said C.U. to Eggo and I very soon after starting Corley St.. As we made our way to the park, Eggo was running slower then I wanted to go so we split-up and started a B and C-Group. The route took us on Dreher St. then behind the the Middle School crossing over to Northwood Rd. I did a modification to the route and hung a left on Wessenger Dr…. You know its beautiful this time of year! After coming out on Columbia Ave and smelling McDonalds, we made our way onto Park St only to see DOT prepping for the snow storm. It looked like they were actually working and not watching traffic cams. Then it was time to run the loop in Niles’s hood. I went CCW and A-Group went CW. As I ran through A-Group, I split them between Kukoc and Pickle. After passing, MacGruber ask me where Eggo was. I yelled back and said he’s too slow. As I was coming out the neighborhood I seent Eggo making the turn for a CCW loop as well. Then it was off to a quick run past Wings-n-ale and into the FoodLion and Kmart parking lots. I crossed over by Hardee’s, gave a quick wave to Pennyworth (R) and the other old geezers drinking coffee and talking about the weather inside. I knew I was almost done as I made my way past Ben Sacher Ford and took a left on Hendix St. As I made my way down Hendix St. I noticed a group of female rucks (I guess Nas Ruckers) coming in my direction walking with traffic in the middle of the lane. I thought to myself “man thats stupid… I hope they don’t get hit.” After the Last Half Mile segment I was almost done. I could see MacG waiting in the parking lot already. I ran all the was up to the segregated WW1 memorial and stopped my watch at 5.99 miles. As of 10:00 a.m. I still have not received any kudos from MacGruber. I’m starting to think I won’t.

BOM

Prayed for safe travels for Eggo’s M and MacGruber’s trip. Also prayed for the sick.

Devo: Do Good!!!     Thats it. Thats the devo!
