Seeing a few HC’s for Wander last night, and knowing the M wasn’t planning to post at FiA, YHC decided to join in on the fun. A quick check of the Q schedule showed no one officially locked in to lead so I signed up and made the route. I put the ruck in the jeep along with two 50# sandbags. Why not carry one or maybe two sandbags depending on the number of PAX to show?
As I drove in this morning I decided to let fate determine how many coupons we would carry. So, with the 2 sandbags laying before the PAX, I presented a quarter. We would flip the quarter twice – one for each sandbag. Heads = carry it. Tails = leave it. After two unnamed PAX each flipped Heads, we knew we had some extra work ahead of us.
Weather: high 50s, everything damp from all the rain.
